Debi Eggleston grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, studied English at Illinois State University, and now lives in Springfield, Illinois with her husband Tim and two children, Aili (5) and Alex (2). Drawing upon her experiences as a mom and a former Day Care Teacher and Director, she put her love for children and writing to work through her debut book, A Mouse Named Tree. Inspired by Aili's imaginary friend, Tree, a mouse who showed up in the backseat of the car one day and decided to live in Aili's pocket; this book introduces Aili's imaginary friend and provides the setting for more exciting adventures.
